Volatility dropped last week, culminating in a sharp uptick on Friday. The indices are having a great time with no obvious signs of change yet.
That said, as I mentioned last week, as I look at the overall market, the quality of setups isn’t magnificent this week either. Post earnings setups are providing the best quality, which isn’t altogether surprising.

Further upside is most likely before we see the more meaningful pullback that I’ve been mentioning should happen sometime after the Jan/Feb earnings season. We are now in that post-earnings period, and that “sometime” could be any time from now to the next earnings season – until we get a clear signal.
In the meantime, just trade what you see, and don’t try to preempt anything.
Our market timing is a real strength. Being good at market timing enables you to swim WITH the tide. It’s a crucial skill set which we’ll include in the practical exercises at the Orlando Options Bootcamp in April.

My game is OVI, near Key Levels, Shrinking Retracements, and a consolidation/sideways move. The other two Big Money Footprints are desirable but those four are essential to ME!
