Not much change from when I wrote on Friday other than to say a short term rally is on the cards this week.
As I’ve been saying for a long time now, this is a pretty hostile market, so protect your profits quickly. Many of your fellow OVI followers have reported great profits even during this time, and that is largely due to my trade management rules.
Today I want to repeat something I mentioned in my seminar two years ago …
‘Horses on Steroids’.
Ok, so it’s not the most politically correct thing you’ll ever hear, but hopefully you’ll take this as a learning metaphor rather than the literal meaning!
Imagine you’re going to the horse races and you want to make a bet.
Which horse do you back?
The one with the name that resonates with you?
The one with the nice silks?
If you’re more skilled you might study the form guide and choose the horse that has form over the distance, ground conditions and other factors that may play into its favour.
That’s fine, but what if you had an inside track that one particular horse has let’s say an ‘unfair advantage’?
Being a totally innocent bystander might you fancy a bet on that horse?
What if you knew that horse was on steroids?! Now I know that’s a terrible thing to say, but get over the dark humour and there’s a pertinent metaphor for you in there that has everything to do with trading!
The horse on steroids has a great chance of winning its race due to its unfair advantage. Most humans would be tempted to have a bet on that – subject to their consciences!
Now apply this concept to trading with the OVI when the signal and market are completely unambiguous and – without the consience dilemma – you effectively have a horse on steroids!
This is empirically proven.
Now right now the market conditions are tough, so this particular ‘race’ isn’t so straightforward.
But it will be again, so you need to keep observing the markets because things can change pretty quickly.
So, with every trade you make – particularly the OVI inspired trades – ask yourself if the particular stock is akin to being a horse on steroids.
If you treat each trade like this you will be more discerning and you will win more – that is a statistical fact.
Don’t trade for the sake of it or because you feel an itch. Your trade must be because you feel that particular ‘horse’ is on steroids … in other words, all the planets (in our world) are lining up.
And even then, you must execute my trading plan for maximum safety and potential windfall.
