There is a new version of the Java OVI charts (for Java security reasons).
When you access the desktop version of the OVI charts, accept the option to run the new version. This will involve it automatically downloading to your downloads folder, after which you should run the application.
Once you’ve installed it you may see a message like this:
Choose to run it and not show it again. Some users may need to clear their browser’s cache in order to successfully get the new version.
It may also need to close your browsers and any other applications using Java.
Once this is complete you can access the OVI Java charts for desktop as before again.
