At the start of this earnings season I said it would be volatile, but the overall direction was still likely to be more up than down.
This is precisely what’s happened, with OVI Traders largely waiting for post-earnings for the best setups. Don’t get me wrong, I love my pre-earnings tactic, but there’s a time and a place for that … and by and large this earnings wasn’t that time!
The good news is that we have other strategies we can focus on while adhering to our principles.
