Trade What You See

Hi Everyone

We’re right in the middle of earnings season and I’m being asked where the markets are headed.

As usual, my reply is “Trade what you see, and don’t try to play the soothsayer”.

Remember Warren Buffett’s immortal quote: “Forecasting tells you much about the forecaster, but nothing about the future”.

The minute you try to be too clever the market will jump up and bite you hard.

If in doubt, just observe during earnings season.  There’s no harm in that.  Remember, “Loss of opportunity is preferable to loss of capital”.

I have no problem with you taking a cautious approach, provided you keep observing and learning.  You can gain a lot of experience so long as you remain in tune with the markets and don’t waste your energy trying to second guess them.

Instead, see how the markets move and react and notice how by trading the Flag-Trader way, you’re more protected from false market moves than any other trading method.

You may also notice how much you can stand to gain when a real move does happen and, by trading the Flag-Trader way, you gain enormously (and safely) when the stock starts to travel.

More later.

All the best
